Project Summary

There is no known effort to compile information on approaches to reduce early marriage. The compiled information and analysis report of the existing programs can help to fill the gaps in understanding the complexities of child marriage prevention and identify best practices for replication and scaling up. Hence, in order to promote innovative, evidence-based solutions, MAMTA in partnership with state government has initiated the concept of KHub in the existing intervention with support of EU. This web based Knowledge/Content Management System (CMS) has been conceptualized and designed by our team with the following key objectives:

  • Provide comprehensive information on child marriage issues.
  • Effectively manage and disseminate knowledge (existing and new).
  • Effective use of evidences into policy and practice.
  • Create an enabling environment on child marriage issues.

The Knowledge Hub administrator can upload publications in different Themes and categories. The portal has multiple search options to easily track documents. The user can add various keywords to a document which updates the online Thesaurus automatically.

The web portal is also being maintained by us after the development and implementation.
