Project Summary

  • SATCOM Review and technical description of the facilities available, how they are being used as well and discussions with concerned government departments that are using and maintaining these facilities. Field Survey in one district and one block where these facilities are found to exist, to check whether they are in working order and in use, and the nature of this use.
  • It would also include recommendations on the potential use of these facilities for distance training of front line workers i.e. ANMs, ASHAs and anganwadi workers on interpersonal communication skills.
  • Do a cost benefit analysis of training through these facilities as opposed to traditional methods of face to face training.
  • Developing modules for training Via SATCOM including Video Modules.
